Angel in the height

Man in flowing white robes walks on stilts

Saturday the 15th of December saw the annual Christmas Parade through the streets of Ulverstone. After the Rector entering the Parade as an 'Angel in the Height' adoring Christ the Lord, the Anglican Parish of Ulverstone presented a stall, for the first time, in the Mardi Gras which follows the Parade, in ANZAC Park - just across the road from the church.

There we also had stilts (of a 'tamer' variety), box-hockey, bubbles, helium-filled Jesus All About Life Balloons, free tea, coffee, cordial, lollies, chocolate crackles, marshmallow cones and 'frogs-in-the-pond'; as well as a spot to sit and rest, or to enjoy a massage.

Christmas Literature and Christmas service advertising were also distributed.

It was great to take the opportunity to be seen in the community, and to mirror the free grace of God to us in sending his Son.
