Nostalgia Now goes to the Movies

Oh what a beautiful mornin'
Oh what a beautiful day!
I got a beautiful feelin'
Everything's goin' my way.

The movie Oklahoma is a tonic and it's coming to the State Theatre in Hobart.

Here's some facts about the movie, that you may not know.

  • Paul Newman and James Dean were considered for the role eventually played by Gordon McRae.
  • It cost $6.8 million to produce and took 107 days to shoot.
  • Nominated for three Academy Awards, it won two.
