Ridley Mission and JAAL

The Parishes of Burnie and Wynyard have been provided with an excellent opportunity as we build up towards the 'Jesus All About Life' campaign. A team of evangelism students from Ridley College, Melbourne, will be spending a week with us, just before the JAAL campaign starts.
JAAL is, as its own promotional DVD states, a 'catalyst' for the local church to tell people about the life that is given by Jesus the Christ. It's up to the local church to be the actual messenger of the good news. The Ridley mission team will be taking part in this work - sharing the gospel and giving testimony etc., but most importantly, the opportunity is for the members of our parishes to be encouraged, trained and released with the means for our own sharing of the gospel. The Ridley team will demonstrate evangelism at services, explain the gospel at small groups, and take part in JAAL promotion and launch events.
The availability of the Ridley team, happily coinciding with JAAL, is a God-given opportunity for us.
