St David’s Cathedral series of talks
St David's Cathedral is hosting a series of talks on Ethics called the Friday Forum which are designed to stimulate debate amongst the community of greater Hobart and offer a Christian perspective.
These talks will take place in the Cathedral at 1pm on the last Friday of each month. The first one is scheduled for 29 February with the Archbishop of Melbourne bringing a perspective on our Indigenous people.
There will also be a series of lunchtime talks every Wednesday at 1pm in the Cathedral during school term of Bible exposition with life application. These will commence on 20 February.
Both initiatives have been started to minister to those who work in the city and are daily required to live and breathe the Gospel in their workplace. It is hoped that networks of support would grow from these initiatives. The sessions are open to anyone.
