Judith Calf with some of her Tanzanian colleagues
Tanzania: What's next?
Judith Calf writes,
I am finding my feet in Sydney, enjoying what a great blessing it is to live in Australia, but also ever mindful of friends, colleagues, students I have left behind in Tanzania.
I had a wonderful time in Launceston in early October at the Tasmanian Clergy Conference. It was a joy and honour to share with them from God's word. I pray for my brothers and sisters serving God faithfully in Tassie, who, like in Tanzania, do so with limited resources, and cultural and social challenges, but a great desire to bring people to know and serve our Lord Jesus.
My schedule between now and Christmas is full, visiting my link churches and other CMS groups. It is a genuine privilege to meet up and share with so many who have prayed and given generously to support my ministry in Tanzania.
The 'What's next?' question is a work in progress. Keep praying I will see what it is the Lord would have me do.
CMS is gearing up for summer conferences in January. I'll be at SummerView from 15 to 18 January. It could be your last chance to see and hear from me for a while.
Who knows what God can do in your life by coming and listening to the word taught and the opportunities for serving our Lord throughout his world. Wouldn't that be an exciting way to start the year!

Don't forget about our missions, particularly over the Christmas period!
The developed world is feeling severe financial constraints, but remember how much more difficult that makes life in the developing world. Our partners in these countries depend on our support more than ever in these uncertain financial times.
Donate directly or use some of the gift catalogues for your Christmas gifts. In fact, don't just do this at Christmas time - the catalogues are good for year-round use!
