History of Anglicare
Dr James Boyce's book on the history of Anglicare was launched at St David’s Cathedral, Hobart on 25 September.
He says, 'What will be immediately clear from even a first glance of this history is that it is not a comprehensive history of Anglicare. No history could be this of course. Choices must always be made by the historian, and in a small book like this, which we hope can be consumed in one sitting and with only one pot of tea or a single bottle of red, choice making becomes even more urgent. And the choice I made was to concentrate on Anglicare’s Christian foundations.'
