Fun and games at the Footy Pie Night in Port Sorell

St Peter's Church at Port Sorell held a fun footy pie night on the Tuesday of AFL Grand Final week.

About 25 people bedecked in footy scarves and team colours raised some funds for garden plants for landscaping around the new access ramps at the church and hall.A meal of homemade pies and saveloys was followed by a selection of sweets.

Coordinated by Cats supporter Dot Tuck and supported by Marie Mansfield and others, the night of fun and entertainment including guest Dr John Gray on guitar, our local daffodil experts who presented a comedy skit on breeding daffodils, a Bible quiz, a footy quiz, a handball competition, poetry reading and a 'Who am I' game of Celebrity Heads.
