Anglican Women's Conference
National Conference in Tasmania
Preparations are well underway for the National Triennial Conference of Anglican Women of Australia, being held at St John’s Church, Launceston, from 11 to 15 May.
Some registration forms have already been received from the mainland as these were sent out earlier to enable convenient travel bookings for the Conference and maybe holidays. Registration forms for the Tasmanian Diocese will be distributed in February.
Please look for them in your parish centres and encourage your friends to come with you for a day or two or more.
The Provincial President and Secretary of the Anglican Women’s Association of South Africa have indicated that they are arriving several days early so they can see something of our island.
We hope that many of our local women will come to the Conference to show them a warm Tasmanian welcome and hear something of the work of the church in their country.
